A song from my heart,

When everything’s quite,

Close your eyes,

And listen to my voice,



I am seeing you for the last time,

A brave face,

Bidding me goodbye,

But deep inside your heart,

I know you wanna cry,



With a broken smile,

You say, everything’s fine,

Pretending; someone else will come,

And save you from your pain,



Your empty heart has swelled,

For all the tears,

You have learned to hide so well,



But hey, you can fool the world,

But not me,

Coz I can see in your eyes,

What the whole world cannot see,



So close your eyes,

And listen to my voice,

You might never know,

But my soul is always by your side.

Everything is silent,

Everything is still,

Everything is alive,

Yet everything is dead,



The tears have dried,

The smiles unaware,

The flames have extinguished,

As a nation simply stared,



The darkness has fallen,

As the black cloud hides the sun,

It’s getting hard to see,

With the winds of change,

I remember how you used to be



Time can never mend the pain,

Without you it’s hard to survive,

All I know,

Somewhere far away,

You are still alive,



All the lost souls,

You are still alive,

Through the candles in the wind,

Through the fighting flames,

Through the shining stars in the sky,

You are alive,

You will always be alive.

THE ANGEL WHO FAILED TO REACH PARADISE

One night I saw her in my dreams,

She was an angel; lost inside,

An angel;

Who has lost her way home,



With her broken smile she was fighting her tears,

Wiping it out with her broken feathers,

With her cut down wings, she tried to fly,

But all she could do was cry,



No one was trying to find her,

Coz no one else cared,

And she knew it now,

It’s a damn cold world out there,



She was crawling in the rain,

She was all alone again,

Becoming numb to al the emotions,

For all the shits that life has done,



I cold feel her heartbeat,

Getting fainter and fainter,

Suddenly she fell down motionless,

Coz ultimately, her soul has left her



All night I wondered, who she was,

Coz I thought I knew her,

She looked so familiar,

But all I could remember; was that-

She was an angel, who failed to reach paradise…
