(the poem is dedicated to my first ball dance...the most cherished moment of my life)



When you are next to me,
I feel closest to heaven,
I want to forget everything,
I just want to feel you tonight,
And I don’t feel the world around me,
Its only you,
As far as I can see,
I know, everything is meant to be over,
But I don’t want to miss you tonight,
I feel my spirit is restless,
I know I cant fight it,
And I don’t want it to be over,
I don’t want to go home tonight,
It’s just you and me,
And I wish I’ll never wake up,
I know sooner or later I’ll be alright,
But don’t ask me to leave you tonight,
And I’ll give up anything for it,
I don’t want to stop you tonight,
I know everything is meant to be over,

I don’t want to lose you tonight,

Don’t pretend to be happy,

Ur empty eyes tell me,

What words cannot

I remember the times you smiled with me,

I thought u were happy;

But u were not,



You were too busy in the fake world; you created,

Too busy to see or listen or do anything

And now you say it’s the world that has cheated,



Now you are alone,

Childhood passed,

Seasons faded away,

Memories died,

As the dawn thrived,



But whenever I want someone,

To truly look up to me,

Somewhere in the heaven,

I never gave,

What you expected from me,

Now I wonder how selfish could be,
